I have known Alexander for almost 19 years. He is a very thoughtful person with an entrepreneurial spirit. In my opinion, one of the greatest skills a student or a professional can demonstrate is curiosity; having a desire to learn new things. Alexander was raised in a family that taught him to ask questions, and seek help when needed – That no one will do his work for him. Alexander embodies these skills which will serve him well with his current and future endeavors.

Alexander was employed at Cub Foods for over 2 1/2 years while in high school and in that time I saw him demonstrate his accountability to his work while balancing his studies and other activities. He understood his need to communicate clearly with work when he needed time off and consistently honored his scheduled work hours. He was able to move within departments of the store, learning both clean team and grocery responsibilities. Working in retail he was present to the customer and always willing to help make their shopping experience better. He has been told that he is welcome to come back and work there anytime.
