  FluiGo is a Maastricht University spin-off start-up founded to design and develop innovative science education tools. My work consists in building circuits and different types of mechanical modules (working mainly with motors) that use those circuits to be controlled remotely via Bluetooth. These mechanical modules are mostly 3D printed parts that have to be assembled and wired with electronics. This internship is giving me hands-on experience on the entire construction process of technological systems, from circuit building, Arduino programming, circuit testing, electrical wiring to fully building the mechanical integrated system.   I was selected for a 2-week project at Barilla, to develop an interactive experience to conceive new products for “the breakfast of the future”. At the end of the 2 weeks, we presented the outcome to a number of managers. The project was so successful that 2 months later we were called in again to present our project to the CEO, so I had the chance to personally meet Mr. Barilla himself!
