  In December 2018, I purchased IB Solved with my business partner, Marcus Buvac. Together, we expanded the brand from an initial investment of $12,000 to a six-figure valuation within four years. From 2019-2022, we generated year-on-year revenue growth of over 120%, delivering over 9000 lessons to IB students in Australia and worldwide. This involved conducting annual recruitment of tutors, coordination of client-tutor relationships, extensive marketing and management of finances. Personally, I also tutored over 4000 hours across this time period which allowed me to build extensive networks within Sydney IB schools. In 2023, IB Solved converted from a private partnership into a company. I remained the sole owner and CEO and through significant recruitment/training of tutors, expanded IB Solved from a team of 8-10 tutors in 2022 to over 50 tutors in 2023. My role as CEO involves: • Developing and managing our Customer Relationship Management and Tutor Management Systems, investing heavily in technology to streamline our core processes. • Conducting sales calls and facilitating client-tutor relationships by maintaining regular contact with students, parents and tutors. • Managing legal requirements and finances, particularly generating budgets, cashflow forecasting and regularly making crucial decisions to balance profitability with the interests of our internal and external stakeholders. • Maintaining our online presence through regular updates to our website and prompt responses to inquiries submitted through our CRM and social media channels. • Producing marketing plans and content across an array of platforms including direct marketing, email marketing and social media. • Sourcing new resources, remaining up-to-date with the latest updates to the IB Program and adopting a Kaizen approach to continuously improve our internal processes and brand.
