BCIT Airline and Flight Operations Commercial Pilot (Fixed-Wing)

Combining knowledge of the aviation industry from BCIT and practical knowledge of aircraft operations from Pacific Flying Club, the Commercial Pilot Program (Fixed-Wing) has prepared me for the challenges of the aviation industry. With myself completing the IFR Flight Test April 14th, 2023, the requirements of the program for graduation have been met, and awaiting a formal graduation date! Personal milestones achieved within the program are: -Commercial License, Multi Engine/ Instrument Ratings -Obtaining Night, Mountain Ratings -Writing the IATRA, CPAER and INRAT Exams -Over 240 hours Total/110 hours PIC -High Altitude Indoctrination Course -Water Egress/ Survival Training Show less

Attended Canadian Flight Centre's Private Pilot Program prior to beginning BCIT's Fixed Wing Commercial Program. All training for private pilot- including pre-solo and post-solo flights, ground school, Transport Canada's Written and Flight Examinations- was provided by CFC. Establishing a foundation to become a part of the aviation world requires time and experience to understand- independant private pilot training has prepared me for the broader world of Night, IFR, Commercial and other future training programs.
