The Institute for Sustainable Futures exists to help governments, organisations, businesses and communities create change towards sustainable futures. As an interdisciplinary research and consulting organisation at the University of Technology Sydney, our core focus is to help governments, organisations, businesses and communities achieve sustainable development by utilising a unique combination of skills and services to offer long-lasting solutions. My research report was focused on: -Exploring how agricultural retainment has been achieved in major global cities and countries- specifically, urban and per-urban agricultural projects. -Exploring and reporting on strategies used by other global cities to retain peri-urban agriculture -Examining the role and content of campaigns to support peri-urban agriculture through marketing to nearby urban consumers
