Alex is the best sales person I know and an extremely reliable scientist. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him for almost 4 years at Janvier LAS. What makes him so good as a Business Development manager? Alex is highly innovative, results-driven and organized in his approach which greatly benefited the sales development of the company when he was working at Janvier LABS. In this time his expertise in science also helped the rest of us in the team become more efficient in our job; Qualities of a great team-player and a leader. During his time at Janvier LABS, Alex has remarkably developed sales for the products and services under his responsibility. I have seen his eagerness to succeed which combined with his ability to create relations makes him a very strong sales person. The thing I value the most about Alex's approach to sales challenges is how he always makes a point of establishing all important questions that need to be answered in order to fully tackle a challenge, a very strong characteristic of a solutions-oriented individual such as Alex, to fulfill client requests. Coming back to this point; Alex never ceased to amaze me with his strong ability to create relations to all kind of people. He posses the talent to transform scientific data into easy understandable selling messages. Alex is gifted with strong communication skills enabling him to explain all issues; hence he can convince any audience irrespective of their educational background. I have enjoyed working with Alex - he cares for the people around him and he has a good sense of humour. He is a valuable asset to any team and I can't recommend him highly enough. Hope our path will cross again someday!

Working with Alex as part of the Global Sales Team has always been a great pleasure and privilege! Alex is always very helpful to his colleagues and customers to find the most efficient solutions. Thanks to his scientific background he increased the knowledge of the team and helped provide the best research models to the scientific community. I am confident that Alex also has all the right communication and human skills to grow his career and get Director positions. I strongly recommend him as a great asset to any organization!

The main goals of my PhD research were the identification and characterization of novel microglial reactivity markers in the retina and the design of therapeutic strategies to reduce neuroinflammation and retinal degeneration. Further, i was interested in the function of photoreceptor gene-regulatory networks with the aim of identifying/characterizing novel retinal disease genes.
