Jeff Buxton

Alexander "Zan" Appell was enrolled in the Introduction to Business (Business 110), and Entrepreneur (Business 275) that I taught as Assistant Professor of Business at Community College of Denver. I have known Zan since Fall 2010, and had continued to meet with him, discussing of various business topics throughout 2011 and into 2012. Both classes included group work developing and presenting a business plan. Zan completed both projects providing significant contribution to the final product leading to a top grade in the class. Zan completed all classes in the upper quartile, all work was on time, and followed instructions. Zan actively participated in lectures and discussions, contributing valuable questions and material. Zan’s insight shows analytical skills and critical thinking. I can strongly recommend Zan for a business position. Zan will be able to successfully apply business concepts that will contribute to profitable operations. Sincerely, Jeffrey W Buxton, President Green Mountain Ski Bus Inc
