This job allowed me to experience hands on medical work and play critical roles within a treatment team. I was challenged with new objectives every day as I assisted veterinarians as they treated various animals. Some of my responsibilities included feeding, grooming, caretaker over animals staying in hospitals, preparation and cleaning of surgical equipment, ensuring owner satisfaction of care through effective communication, analyzing blood and fecal samples, working as a part of a team.
