Assisting with preparation and fabrication of nanofiber samples, spectroscopic analysis using near infrared (NIR) light, and replicating the optical properties of human tissue for testing purposes.More recent work has included the development of a Monte Carlo simulation to determine the possible behaviors of NIR light incident on tissue phantoms.
