Clinical Role:I administer skill-based assessments, write Individualized Education Plan (IEP), design and implement programs for skill acquisition (that includes language and communication skills, social skills, self-help skills and pre-academic/academic skills), design and implement behavior support plans for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. I also conduct and supervise Telehealth sessions for parents and students. I work together and keep close communication with school teachers, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Developmental Pediatricians and Parents on students' goals and progress.Internal and External Trainings:I create training materials and provide on-going training to staffs and parents at SEED. I also supervise Registered Behavior Therapists (RBT), and have also co-developed an online learning system and curriculum for external trainings.Dissemination and Public Engagement:I engage in public talks to disseminate the science of Applied Behavior Analysis to different groups and demographics ranging from school teachers, university students and parents. I kickstarted a Podcast series for SEED as a platform for dissemination, and hosted Facebook Live sessions for the public. I have also organized a forum with Speech and Occupational Therapists to promote better multidisciplinary collaboration.External Consultation:I consult for the Kuching Autistic Association (KAA) for 2 consecutive years, assisting and training the team for effective programming and implementation of skill acquisitions programs for its students.
