Winner was decided by Facebook votes and 5 prestigious judges.I used Chord Track, several virtual instruments, midi and audio to create the song "Happy".First prize was a trip to Steinberg headquarters in Hamburg Germany and an awesome prize pack including software and hardware.   Responsibilities: UI/UX web development for multi-language user customizable e-learning application using XHTML, CSS3, jQuery, Ext JS 4, Ajax, Ftl templates, i18N, L10N, 508 compliance best practices, and Photoshop design mock-ups. Accomplishments: • Sole handedly built complete prototype of re-designed multi-lingual, user customizable e-learning site using XHTML, jQuery, CSS2, and CSS3. Used jQuery to build all UI functionality in prototype, used CSS3 and IE 6, 7, 8 CSS3 hack to show color customizable layout with rounded corners. All code was tested to be XHTML, W3C, and 508 compliant, and adaptable for content to be displayed in 19 different languages. • Built new Ext JS 4 based components for e-learning application. Created Ext JS 4 custom code and custom CSS to overwrite styles in Ext JS 4 built-in components to match newly designed UI look and feel. Customized features in Ext JS 4 based components such as image fly-out menu, image slider, tooltip, and lightbox,• Re-coded Ftl template based content for admin side of project, applied new code structure, images, and CSS to make it match the new look and layout. Modified Ftl templates and logic, used jQuery and CSS3. • Designed and updated visual mock-ups refining UI changes as requested by Product and Marketing. Used Photoshop CS5 to create new designs. • Coded with XHTML, CSS2 + 3, JavaScript, jQuery, Sencha Ext JS 4, Ftl Templates, JSON, and Ajax. I also applied web development best practices such as the use of sprites, custom tablet (iPad) CSS, IE 6, 7, 8 CSS fixes. 508 compliance was verified with JAWS.
