What a Rockstar!!! I worked with Alexa at Skyline College in the Strategic Partnership and Workforce Development Program as Job Placement Coordinators. From the get go, Alexa had a upbeat and professional presence with the team. She has a great ability to related to the student community we supported and outstanding leader that is essential to facilitating workshops and events. Alexa quickly proved herself as a detail-orientated Project Manager by taking on lead roles for student workshops and events with great results. As a team member, Alexa demonstrated an ease of communication skills delivering project details, follow-ups, one-on-one appointments in-person and over the phone. Alexa demonstrated taking initiative by digging into new research and topics that would inform her work and support to students outside the scope of her previous experiences. Her ability to network proved successful to creating a job/internship pipeline for students and program partnerships. Alexa is a great representative of the overall team & department and an essential pillar to the future success of the SPWD program.

Alexa and I worked together as Job Placement Coordinators at Skyline Community College. Alexa assisted students who were interested in careers in Education, Law and Social Sciences. I found it remarkable that Alexa could be such a great a team player while also demonstrate strong leadership skills. During our time at Skyline College, our division went through some transition and Alexa stepped up, with grace and initiative, taking on additional duties and projects. Alexa’s ability to juggle her responsibilities made a dramatic difference in the productivity of our team. She also jumped into a new role and into a new industry—workforce development and immediately became an asset to our team, our division and to the students she helped. Alexa would be an asset to any team and it was a pleasure to work with her.
