Child Life Intern

Sep 2021 - Dec 2021
Through the Applied and Community Psychology internship at Rutgers University, I had the opportunity to gain experience in patient care and play therapy under the supervision of Child Life Specialists. As an intern, I worked out of the Bristol Myers Squibb Children's Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital with patients ranging from infants to adolescents. I was able to meet families and patients alike in the Pediatric, Hematology/Oncology, Adolescent, and Pediatric Intensive Unit.
