  I am currently an intern at EMJ Metals this summer. I took on a lot of duties within the workplace like working in the merchandising department updating all of the PO's that come in for the company, that entails changing the lead times on when the steel is shipping, as well as changing the quantities & prices of the steel so the company and the customer has an accurate representation of the product. I have also been working in the sales department. With that said, I have been uploading all of the quotes that come in from customers daily and putting them into our computer software system. I have been doing a lot of computer based activities, growing my knowledge in that area. I have also used the Microsoft software products quite a bit as well interning at EMJ this summer. It has been a great experience working in different areas within the company because it broadened my knowledge of the supply chain with steel at EMJ. Show less
