  I've been a Teacher of Physics at Archbishop Tenison's for just over 9 years. I've been Lead teacher for Gifted and Talented pupils since September 2017 and Head of Careers since September 2021. In my roles I've improved the enrichment provision at our school by adding in opportunities for our higher ability pupils to excel in every year group, as well as developing our careers provision to hit all of the Gatsby Benchmarks. When I first started as Head of Careers we only did Mock Interview Day and Work Experience week for Year 10, occasionally got in speakers and didn't have an on-site careers adviser. Since my tenure began we've expanded provision to not only include work experience for the sixth form and a careers adviser available to all, but also many extra-curricular opportunities for virtual work experience, a system for informing our pupils and students about all the opportunities available to them, a visit to a local careers fair, a Higher Education fair for all pupils and students with targeted workshops for the sixth form and lots of talks from local industry.
