As an existing customer of mine whilst at Epicor, I was offered a chance to join Allied Mobile as Chief Technical Officer responsible for all IT and business systems. I soon moved into the Finance Department to focus on their Epicor ERP Business and Financial Systems with specific goals to improve accuracy and performance of the system. After completion of my two year contract I returned to the UK, however in 2012 I was invited to re-join Allied Mobile as a Finance Director. My immediate tasks were to ‘fix’ the system as no Management Reports had been produced for several months and ultimately to produce timeous and accurate monthly consolidated Management Reports Major Projects/Achievements at Allied Mobile include:- • Development and provision of monthly Consolidated Management Accounts on or before working day 10. Previously these were inaccurate, late or even non-existent. • Resolution of any system issues, one of which led me to finding over $2m in missing revenue. • Smooth completion of six annual Audits, without major issue, with EY • Implementation of on-line Storefront and Portal Applications and Implementation of integrated Point of Sale system in 17 retails stores in Zambia and 12 stores in Mozambique. • Upgrade of full ERP system including full system Data Migration due to currency changes. In particular, I was responsible for both the generation of revenue targets plus the day to day management of these teams. After 18 months my role at Epicor changed after it was recognised that my skills were better utilized in a ‘customer facing’ role such as Engagement Management. I was responsible for revenue generation from both the existing customer base and also new business customers, whilst ensuring customer care and satisfaction. I worked with the Professional Services team throughout the customer software lifecycle from initial contract negotiation and solution presentation, through to solution implementation and then subsequent system development. Major Clients and Projects managed during this time included:- • Formula One Services & Software Contract won • Orient Express Hotels System Implementation & development • Cafédirect plc. – system re-design and implementation • Corporation Service Company (Manhattan) - Implementation of a highly functional web based order entry application that integrated into an Epicor Back Office system. Qualified for Epicor Presidents Club in 2008 by over-achieving revenue targets. After returning to the UK in 2010 I joined Epaccsys initially as Professional Services Manager, however I soon returned to Epicor to act as a senior Financial Consultant on the implementation of Epicor 9 ERP software. Clients included Tensator UK Ltd, Datapoint, OPP and UK Debt Management Office. Show less

In 1992 we formed Platsoft which was solely involved in the provision of Epicor Software solutions, based upon a Value Added Reseller (VAR) model. Platsoft services included Sales, Marketing, Implementation Consultancy, Customisation and Technical/Software Support. I was responsible for the consulting and implementation processes employed at client sites, acting as a Project Director, as well as the management and delivery of the technical and product support function. I also acted as a ‘product expert’ to the consulting and development teams where my knowledge of the software, systems and accounting principles was leveraged and applied to practical issues regarding implementations and business requirements. Examples of the projects that I have managed or been involved with include:- • British Telecom, BBC Television and British Aerospace (Amida customers) • Mencap, Channel Island Traders and the Royal Horticultural Society The Amida/Platsoft business, which grew to an approximate annual turnover of £3M with about 30 members of staff, was sold to Epicor, our major partner, in Feb 2004.
