Sensitive to students' needs, Alex is a natural leader and a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher. She is energetic and self-motivated with a strong work ethic; she works equally well on her own or as part of a team. Additionally she is a skilled and imaginative writer. I was fortunate to work with Alex for two years, including her term as co-president of the SLC (Sarah Lawrence College) Feminists. It was a pleasure work with Alex. I appreciated her support of campus violence prevention initiatives, and I was impressed with the diverse and creative activities she and her colleagues implemented.
