Returning to my home flipping job, I have become proficient in painting, cosmetic touch-ups, minor electrical fixes, switching electrical replacements, hanging ceiling fixtures, vanity installations, flooring, siding, with a slight touch of roofing experience. This hands-on job has provided multitudes of housing knowledge that have led me to fix over 50 houses, and even my own in my spare time. I decided to expand my skillset over the summer to see if construction management was the right fit for me. I was a laborer, but quickly moved up the ranks in the equipment department. I quickly learned how to drive multiple construction vehicles ranging from skid loaders, to excavators. This job provided skills of adaptability, problem-solving, quick-thinking, and multitasking at a commercial grade job. I took this job when I was 16 and I was extremely inexperienced with construction-like work. This job took me under their wing and taught me everything I would need to know. Here I specialize mostly in painting, however, I have also gained significant experience in roofing, siding, flooring, and even management. I led my own crew for a span of two years, and helped my workforce save their own time and money by being a quick, hands-on learner! I took a short leave from this job to expand my skillset. I was a donation organizer for the time I worked here. I would take the donations we received, and sort them into their respective piles. I learned how to keep a clean work environment even when it can get a little hectic. I also helped solve a disastrous mess of donations that had been stored in the attic for years.
