Alex Smart and I worked together on the Manukau Tertiary Centre Project in its early stages. I was the Project Coordinator and later carried out business analysis activities under her mentorship. She coached me in requirements gathering, analysis and reporting. She showed me the importance of socialising new ideas and being persistent when gathering requirements. Alex gave me the tools and confidence that led me to further project work; she is not only a skilled Project Manager but also a great mentor.
