Reporting to the Managing Director, I am responsible for overseeing the logistics, delivery and production of the Don’t Panic event portfolio of 30+ events both in the UK & Internationally, whilst managing a team comprising one Senior, two Event Managers, one Junior Event Manager and an Event Executive. I also oversee all of the event budgets and work closely with my team, the FD and MD to keep track of each individual event. I play a key part in the day-to-day running of the agency, ensuring all internal departments meet deadlines and requirements by setting timelines for all events and updating the company-wide TAP plan. I work closely with existing clients to define their event objectives and create and deliver appropriate event solutions. I take care of all new business enquiries which involve proposal work, attending new business meetings and then the onboarding process once confirmed. I am responsible for all supplier management in relation to the events team which includes building new relationships, maintaining existing relationships and negotiating the best service and fee which aligns with the company/event objectives.As part of my role, I proudly take a position on the senior leadership team and contribute to business planning, business development and strategy. We produce live, virtual and hybrid events across our global portfolio with ethics and transparency at the heart of everything we do. This core value is embedded in our own award shows right through to our client-facing approach.Our clients and partners include globally recognised brands, trade associations, SAAS Companies, publishers and public bodies.
