This is a free service provided by James Madison University to help sudents with low to intermidiate level physics, math, chemistry and statsics. I tutored in low to intermediate level physics. I helped about 5-8 students at a time, with up to as many as 12-15. This job gave me experience dealing with large crowds of generally frustrated people. I learned skills to keep everyone calm and happy while helping everyone finish their tasks. It was my responsibility to create simulations of how particles might behave after the upgrade of their electron laser. The facility was upgrading their electron laser from 6 GeV to 12 GeV and under the guidance of Dr. Avakian I helped generate simluations of results to expect after the upgrade was complete. These simulations were created in ROOT and I gave a poster presentation of my work to the faculty of the lab.
