Investigation into changes in viscosity of clathrate hydrate compounds leading up to nucleation through use of Diffusion Ordered Spectroscopy (DOSY). Project undertaken during the BP deepwater horizon oil spill where clathrate hydrate formation was a major obstacle in closing off leaking well and information on these phenomenon were at a premium.
