  Basically to describe Maddens in a nut shell, i was the all over guy at first. Started at the Inn, then the classic, a couple days in the late night pub. Until finding my place at the Inn doing mainly the dinner shift. I started at 4pm and closed around 10:30 11pm. We had a full menu around 20+ items includding a full wine list. I mainly kept guests happy while they waited for their table to be ready. Get them drinks , show them the menu giving them good entrees' to make their dinner experience at maddens more desirable. Also i had 8 tables of my own and a bar that would seat 12. When i worked during the day i served the pool and outside deck. Had a breakfast menu that ran from 7am till 2pm before switching to our happy hour menu that ran from 3pm till 6pm, at 6 we would again switch over to the dinner menu that ran till 9pm. Did other basic bartending things like keep things stocked for the next person who worked. Cleaning, changing kegs and soda dispenser. Show less

  This place was near and dear to my heart. My father owned the restaurant for 17 years before being forced to let it go. I grew up there always helping out with bussing tables, seating people , washing dishes , taking out trash , basically being everyones little gopher. Until i was 18 and old enough to bartend. i started out just working sundays for brunch and the Vikings Games but that quickly led into working all times of day and all days during the week and weekend. I would bartend for 300+ weddings and be apart of a bartending team when we would host bands , that sometimes brought in 1000+ people. My duties intitiled keeping bar looking clean and organized, while also keeping it fully stock. I always tried to keep a fun and energentic aroma in the bars i worked. Making sure everyone is having a good time and enjoying themselves. Bruno's taught me almost everything i know about the Food & Beverage industry. Well it did help growing up in the business.   Party World was my summer job while i went to high school in Brainerd. I was part of a 6 man crew. We would deliver and set up tents, tables, chairs, decorations, games, and giant blow up slides and games for, graduation parties, weddings , birthdays , holidays , even events that local resorts were putting on.
