  • Worked under the direction of the Senior Director of the Office of Labor Relations and Manager of Employee Availability (EA) Unit to conduct audits of current employee availability policy and procedures • Coordinated with the unit's staff members to complete depot wide audits, including field audits, by preparing individual sick leave analyses and drafting disciplinary charges based on employees’ time and attendance records to enhance overall employee availability • Generated reports to track the depots’ implementation of disciplinary charges, and monitored the EA unit’s quarterly and cumulative progress since inception • Assisted in gathering facts and documents for investigations as well as conducted research for the preparation of step II and arbitration hearings including Workers’ Compensation fraud and time and attendance cases • Aided in the surveillance investigation process including conducting preliminary research, preparing daily activity questionnaire letters, and updating the unit’s track based on investigators’ reports • Trained newly hired interns including distributing tasks, reviewing assignments, and administering proper protocol in unprecedented situations
