  I provide technical guidance for the maintenance and modernization for mechanical systems for nuclear submarines. I worked on mechanical systems such as hydraulics, water, low pressure air, high pressure air, HVAC and refrigeration. I write documents and help skilled tradesmen restore, repair or modernize existing mechanical systems to military and industry standards. I solve problems that emerge over the course of maintenance work. I coordinate and act as the technical liaison between project management and trade work. I have become proficient in reading engineering drawings, understanding military specifications, welding and brazing procedures.
