After working in the finance industry for the past two and a half years, I have now taken on the position as a Regional Account Manager at Tower Leasing Limited, one of the largest and long established funding brokers in the UK. We operate nationwide and work with a wide range of businesses from new start companies to those with multi-million pound turnovers covering all sectors of trade. I help to support business' of any size or industry type and have amassed a wide range of experiences within the last few years in which I utilise to advise and provide the service best required by my clients. Having our own book and a multitude of funders at our convenience, there is no project that we are unable to assist with whether it be vehicles, equipment, expansion or a loan to name a few examples. Soon after completing my apprenticeship, I immediately took on a full time position as an operations coordinator at the largest independent finance company in the United Kingdom, Shire Leasing PLC. Here I was in charge of dealing with the day to day administration of an on-going agreement. I would consistently operate the phone dealing with directors of companies requesting the relevant information and helping them out in any way I could. I would have to obtain certain details and documentation as well as inputting the correct data onto our unique system ‘Leaseman’. Failing to do this correctly and efficiently would leave a very unhappy customer, problems internally or even potentially a cancellation of the deal. After maintaining this to an exceptional standard, I was then given the opportunity to begin a new career in Sales. Show less

I started at the college as a temp in data management, here I learnt how to use our bespoke system Unit-E, I then used this to input data of students certificates and post them out to people. I also did a lot of filing, helped out on the phones and any other jobs that needed to be done. I then heard of an apprenticeship up for offer here and made sure I would be the one to get it. Once getting my apprenticeship I began in the contact centre in early December. Daily tasks include, making and receiving calls and answering verbal and written enquiries. I am also set jobs to do such as handling money, sending out post, helping out with open days, interview evenings and enrolment and working on reception and student services when needed. Show less
