  In February 2023 Copse Close Solar Farm Ltd (CCSF) obtained planning permission to develop a solar farm and electricity storage facility near Alton in Hampshire.   I advised the Turks and Caicos Islands Government on the successful refinancing of its US$170m UK Government guaranteed bond in February 2016, working closely with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and Department For International Development (DFID) in London (having previously advised the UK Government when the $170m bond was issued in 2011, while at Riverhill). The bond has been repaid and the TCI Government has successfully raised new debt without a UK guarantee. The award of a BBB+ credit rating from S&P in 2014 was a central part of the refinancing strategy and, along with the wider turnaround project, has supported a dramatic improvement in TCI's economy and Government finances.
