      I was the sole PC Tech for Allyon in the Ft. Wainwright Alaska and surrounding area. My area covers a 100 mile radius that includes all the Alaska Corp of Engineer offices on Ft. Greely (10-12 users), Clear Air Force Base (9-10 users), Chena Dam Project (15-20 users), Eielson Air Force Base(9-10 users) and the Regulatory Office(9-10 users) in downtown Fairbanks. I was regularly required to travel to all the mentioned locations when more than remote support was needed. While also providing remote support to Anchorage District office (100+ users). My regular duties include but are not limited to: Providing support to distributed PC/networking environment including installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting for stand-alone PCs, PCs linked to networks, printers, and other computer peripherals. Support responsibilities include software installation and configurations, technical, operational, and training support to users of computers either by telephone, remote access or on-site for PC desktop hardware and software packages. Install and test computers, printers, and other peripherals, configure operating system, load shrink-wrap programs, and other customer requested software programs. Troubleshoot computers, networks and printer problems. Perform hardware and software diagnostics. Coordinating needed repairs for warranty work with Vendors. Resolve computer system problems, coordinated between users and components of a local area network, and participated in the evaluation of system configuration and software.
