In addition to delivering lectures and lab classes to psychology undergraduate students, I also continued my research activity by working to develop and update tools for experimental data collection. My focus was to produce an application in the latest version of Python that produced usable output, was easily shared and could be adapted to online use with little effort.

My work in this role focused on applying cognitive psychology to real world problems, principally around improving human performance in the airport security domain. I designed expeirments, collected data both in the laboratory and online and processed and analysed data, later writing up and publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals. This project also involved work with external stakeholders in government and the security sector.
