  I worked in Husky's Oil Sands department, specifically in their Operational Excellence team assisting with the continual operational improvement of their Sunrise bitumen production site.   Spent two summers with EllisDon working in downtown Calgary assisting with the construction project of Manulife tower (707 5th Street). Much of my time was spent coordinating and communicating with the architects and our own team at site, as well as tracking changes to the building plans and blueprints. I worked to increase the effectiveness of blueprint accessibility and task/work tracking changes by implementing third-party software (Fieldwire) to be used by people in the office or out on site. I also conducted safety and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building compliance reporting and monitoring to ensure our site was practicing safe and mindful building procedures.
