I can confirm that Alex Mcnocholls played an instrumental role in our Virtual Internship Programme, working remotely with Think Pacific. Alex worked upon completing a Social Action Project proposed by our Fijian partners- The Psychiatric Survivors Association which she completed well ahead of schedule and to such excellence that she was ale to take on a second project for the Fiji Rugby Academy, supporting their development, undertaking over 100 hours of voluntary work. This included learning about an entirely unique culture and traditions in Fiji, as well as a deeper understanding of how their subject area relates to Fiji, before moving on to working on the project proposal itself. Alex demonstrated a proactive approach to the project and an ability to work independently throughout the internship. With limited resources and broad project briefs, the internship depended upon creativeness, resourcefulness and innovative thinking; skills that were shown in abundance throughout the project. She further demonstrated extensive leadership skills by organising and running various virtual networking events in group settings with other interns on this program. With an extensive understanding of The Pacific Community's aims and values, Alex designed and delivered a creative and comprehensive project. Her determination and innovation played a huge part in achieving the aims of the Think Pacific Foundation. I would highly recommend Alex and she should take great pride for the success of the project proposal and the positive contribution made to increasing opportunities for the organisations across the Fiji Islands.

Through my time at the noble comb, I have been able to use effective communication with my teammates to help make sure that the customers are happy with the service they are provided. The average day at noble comb will include making sure that tables, menus and cutlery are clean and well presented. I also have had more experience on the bar from January 2022, which has allowed me to communicate more with the customers, helping decide what they want for their food, building relationships with them and sharing smiles. With this I have also Learnt how to manage money on the tills.

Intern at think pacific
-
Jul 2021 - Aug 2021
During my time I completed 2 projects; one for Fiji rugby academy and the other for psychiatric survivorsassociation. This included designing and building new ways to put across the importance of mental health, taking into consideration their race, religion, and the availability of resources. At this time there were many new challenges I had to overcome such as; confidence in my own work, amount of workload, and new skills because I had to learn how to use new software,I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at think pacific, learning about the Fijian culture, the organisations and even meeting new people! My goals were to become more confident and be better at communicating with other people, I feel I have achieved that and more though this internship.
