Within Xercise4less I work as a Junior Software Engineer who primarily work's on providing Front-End focussed features to improve the users experience. Core Responsibilities: Developing new features: With the business rapidly expanding it's my job to ensure new customer centric features meet the business requirements and are done in a timely manner. For example, integrating sub purchase flows within our main flow and integrating headless Magento components to allow the Marketing to develop their pages separately from the main site. Maintenance: While my core was developing new features within the site it was also my responsibility to ensure the websites core modules and external plugin. Regular PR reviews (When Applicable) From October 2019 and May 2020, it was my responsibility to conduct regular code reviews over other developers code, this allowed me to provide a further review of someone else's code, improvements could be suggested and areas I particular liked could be highlighted. Attend Daily Stand-up Meetings On a daily basis we had regular team meetings to discuss what we have been working on the previous day, what we are working on today and notify the team of any blockers we have. Problem Solving: Any issues found with the site it would be my responsibility to find the cause of the issue and introduce a solution to solve the problem.
