  • I led the management of three Sure Start Children's Centre's in the Chatham area. • I drew up long term development plans, identifying key priorities, actions and time scales. I have developed an understanding of how these elements can change over time and how practice needs to be adapted. • I managed, convened and chaired a variety of meetings across the Centre's. They include Parents Forum, Advisory Board, and Team around the Children's Centre (TACC) and the Private, Voluntary and Independent sector. Through these meetings we have ensured vulnerable families are identified and accessing appropriate services and offered the correct support. • I set the agendas for meetings, oversee the minutes and ensure actions are monitored. Actions from meetings lead to effective multi-agency working at all levels. This has broadened my knowledge and skills and enabled me to provide a range of appropriate support packages for the families that I have worked with. • I facilitated the Freedom Programme. I am the Lead Professional for child protection and act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Children’s Centre’s in the cluster. Show less
