  The Documentary NZ Trust is a not for profit organization set up to promote and create opportunities for documentary filmmaking in NZ. We run the Documentary Edge Festival, the only competitive documentary genre festival in Australasia, the Documentary Edge Forum - an industry event comprising seminars, workshops, pitching, networking and the DOC Lab which is a incubator for cross media documentary, the Documentary Edge Campus which runs our industry, education and resource centre initiatives.I have curated the screening programme for Doc Edge International Film Festival as well as the industry programme at Screen Edge Forum since the beginning. I have also been responsible for developing the digital interactive storytelling strategy and platform known as Story Edge which aims to upskill creative practitioners and technologists so that they will collaborate and create new hybrid projects.I have also managed the international relationships as well as help develop the business plan for the Trust. I have been invited to be part of the jury in international film festivals including IDFA Amsterdam, Dok Leipzig, Shanghai Microfilm Festival.

Production activity alone generates more than $700 million annual gross revenue, and the wider industry injects more than $2 billion into the regional economy.
