My position within the company encompassed all aspects of managing and working with a team of planners and admin staff, reporting directly to the managing director and the board. The department dealt with approximately 3000 applications a year and covers urban centres, Green Belt and Flood Plains. Responsibilities included: I dealt with numerous large and complex schemes across the Borough, lead presenter at regional planning committees, representing the Council at appeals, inquires/ hearings etc.
