  In this role, I was responsible for ensuring safety of guests, team members, and high value merchandise at Target. I worked to deter, investigate, and prevent instances of theft and fraud in the store. This is done through various tasks, such as using CCTV Surveillance, daily theft identification counts, applying merchandise protection for high-dollar and high-theft merchandise, and walking the sales floor to observe any suspicious activity. Loss prevention staff worked closely with local law enforcement to deter and solve these types of crimes.
