I worked with Alex while I was the brand lead for biologic therapy, sarilumab at Regeneron. Due to the fact that we were preparing a "biologic" for commercialization, it was important to me to have a close relationship with my manufacturing counterpart. When I refer to manufacturing here, I mean "device assessment, recommendation and development". In this capacity, I found Alex to be an excellent partner. He is one of the few that understand the commercial side of the business and why we ask for the things we do. He ALWAYS sought to understand exactly what our issues were and went out his way to help address them. He was also a staunch advocate when it came to helping the brand influence executive management as well as our external Alliance partner. I highly recommend him for additional positions of responsibility as he is an asset to any team.

Alex and I worked together at Regeneron for almost 2 years in separate, but closely related functions. His collaborative approach to solving both business and technical problems, strong leadership abilities, and broad technical expertise were instrumental in running the company's technical operations for Drug Product, Devices, Engineering Quality, and Secondary Packaging. Having built those organizations from the ground, Alex transformed the business to a fully vertically integrated company from a technical capability perspective. It was a pleasure working with Alex and his team!
