I have been in the hospitality industry for nearly two decades now, and I can share confidently that Happy "Alex" is up there with my favourite people. Why? Because he is everything you would look for in a hospitality leader, a friend, a teacher and a mentor. It's difficult to separate Happy's knowledge and passion, he has one of the best minds in the game, and the certifications and life experience to prove it. What does set him apart is he is all of this, and still humble, and always there when you need. Leading from within the pack, ready to lift others first and catch them when they fall. I have only had the pleasure of working with Happy a few times in my life, but I am fully cognizant that this is "so far". He is someone who makes those around him infinitely better, either within a venue, a country or the global industry, and I look forward to the next thing we do together - whatever and whenever that may be.
