  I research the sexual development of the moss Physcomitrella patens in response to environmental cues. I use molecular biology techniques such as qRT-PCR, PCR, RNA-sequencing, and the CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing system. I am currently interested in the evolution a gene family in this moss that has been shown to play a role in the sexual development in other land plants

  -Helped to found, the Spanish language newspaper A medio camino at Kenyon College.-Ensure that our budget is up to date and make the payments for the printing of the newspaper.-Identified opportunities for campus wide events to increase the organization's presence on campus.-Edited the Community Outreach section of the newspaper and developed ideas for articles.

  -Cultivated an inclusive, collaborative, and healthy atmosphere for all members.-Developed a budget that needed for the Club to continue operating each semester.-Scheduled matches, athletic trainers, and referees for each match.-Completed the necessary liability paperwork and ensured the Club was compliant with all College regulations.-Initiated the search for the first coach in the Club's history and interviewed multiple candidates.-Led the team through a transition from a member-run to a coach-run organization.
