In a decentralized model, create dynamic week-long programs tailored to the needs of the group, as discussed and decided upon by the group, 24 hours at a time. Directly responsible for three staff members and fourteen campers each session, changing up the staff and age groups each week through the summer. Coordinating necessary supplies and resources, reserving program areas of the camp, meeting with other Discovery Group Leaders and Program Director nightly to address any concerns from the community and disseminate useful information back to each respective group. Initially hired as a camp counselor, slept in the cabins with the campers. After four days, moved to the group leader role and out of the cabins and into shared residential facility with other leaders.
