I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Dr. Behrman and Ruth as a medical assistant. I currently closely interact with patients in several ways. I help the doctor in several capaciteis. I get the medical history of new patients, take sutures out and splints off of patients after surgery, put casts on patients, etc. Once a week I intern with a doctor in the OR, getting priceless experience watching the doctor perform surgery. Worked with DPPC lipids in order to better understand the phase transitions at different temperatures. Our team is measuring the capacitance across the membrane while regulating the temperature. The changing capacitance is closely related to the temperature. Worked with DPPC lipids in order to better understand the phase transitions at different temperatures. In the lab, we need to maintain constant wavelengths for lasers over a long periods of time. Since wavelength is temperature dependent, it is essential to set and maintain a steady temperature. So I am currently working on perfecting a temperature controller built in the lab. I plan on having a paper written on it within next few months. I worked in the lab for the spring term and then worked in Cal for Stanislaus foods for the summer term. In the lab, we need to maintain constant wavelengths for lasers over a long periods of time. During my summer break I worked for this company. They supply the all the pizza sauce for Papa Johns Pizza and Olive Garden. I headed up a project that was designed to save the company money. I constructed a mechanism using fluid-dynamics that de-juiced 80 thousand pound trailers full of tomatoes. As supervisor I oversaw four employees. We de-juiced on average 300 to 400 trucks a day for three weeks straight. During my summer break I worked for this company. They supply the all the pizza sauce for Papa Johns Pizza and Olive Garden.
