Ten-week Clinical Internship at an outpatient department connected to a rehabilitation hospital. Managed a full patient caseload comprised primarily of patients with post-acute neurological conditions including CVA, TBI, SCI, and concussion, as well as amputee, vestibular, orthopedic, and post-surgical patients. In addition, the ability to cover impatient treatments working with sub-acute neurologic and post-surgical patients was also required. Collaborated with physicians, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and medical equipment suppliers to advocate for patient equipment and other healthcare needs.

Ten-week Clinical Internship at a therapist-owned, private orthopedic physical therapy practice. Consistently managed the evaluation and treatment of 8-10 patients daily, with significant autonomy. Treated a wide patient population with diagnosis including post-surgical ankle, knee, hip, spine, and shoulder patients, as well as lumbar, thoracic, and cervical pain, RTC impingement, osteoarthritis, tendonitis, fractures, and muscle weakness/imbalance. Supervised and directed rehabilitation aids independently to provide optimized plans of care that were individualized for each patient.

Ten-week Clinical Internship at a hospital-based outpatient clinic. Evaluated and treated patients with an age range from <1 to 90 years old. Accountable for 80% of full patient case load. Treated patients with a variety of diagnosis including, post-CVA, post-surgery of shoulder, knee, and hip, as well as osteoarthritis, lumbar pain, vestibular imbalances, torticollis, and muscular weakness/imbalance. Facilitated evaluation and treatment session of patients admitted to the psychiatric unit of the hospital who required physical therapy.
