Having managed LCN's financial management for the last five years, I've now moved over into supporting Law Centres with IT and digital transformation. I lead LCN's ambitious National IT Upgrade scheme, which supports Law Centres to migrate their IT infrastructure to the cloud and encourages new ways of working and collaboration; both within individual Law Centres and across the Network as a whole. This became particularly prescient during the pandemic where old and antiquated onsite systems were prohibiting some Law Centres from working remotely, and with the flexibility required throughout the Pandemic. To date, we have migrated around 20 Law Centres into the Microsoft 365 infrastructure with over 1000 users. It has been a joy to oversee the latest phase of the project and help Law Centres better serve the needs of their clients.I also work within the digital transformation team and lead on two projects on Data and Back-Office development. The Back-Office Project is an exciting initiative to implement Salesforce for Law Centres to help manage back office functions such as HR, Grant and Volunteer Manager. I play the role of Business Analyst, Consultant and Salesforce Admin and have so far supported four Law Centres to implement Salesforce and manage their back-office operations more effectively and look forward to onboarding more Law Centres over the next few months. I lead on VAC's internal IT and digital requirements and advise Camden charities and community groups on digital issues. Having implemented our Salesforce database in 2017, a core part of my role involves the continual development and expansion of the system throughout the organisation and working closely with colleagues to ensure we get the most from our data. I'm also passionate about helping small groups build their own IT & Digital capacity and have recently launched a new programme of support and training to help the voluntary and community sector move forward on their digital journeys.
