I spent summer 2022 in the Woodlands, Texas as an intern with Global Shop Solutions, an ERP software company. I was in the manufacturing department of the Customer Care division. My internship consisted of working with our customers to fix issues and errors with either the Global Shop software or any process that related to manufacturing. I gained extensive experience with the whole quote-to-cash process, bill of materials, routers, work orders, purchase orders, quotes, etc. Clear and detailed communication, good people skills, on the fly problem solving, organization, and multi-tasking were all necessary traits I portrayed in contributing to the company. Challenger FEA ReportFor this project, I studied the Challenger Disaster and used documentation and Solidworks Simulations to identify the cause of the explosion. I created a full FEA report using Mechanics of Materials Theories and simulation results. This report was a great way for me to gain further experience with Solidworks, solid mechanics, and general industry report writing techniques.

I installed and maintained commercial and residential high pressure mist systems. The work included setting up mist line, installing 1000 psi mist pumps, servicing current mist systems, troubleshooting, and preforming bids for prospective costumers. I gained experience with a wide variety of tools and mechanical techniques, as well as was introduced to business side aspects such as pricing, placing orders and material utilization.
