  I created and now run The Secret Garden Pop-up Café where I put on a varied programme of family events at Enfield’s historic arts centre and Tudor house, Salisbury House. I make a delicious range of cakes that I serve alongside artisan coffee, speciality tea, lunch and children’s snacks. As well enjoying the themed events, children also have the beautiful garden to explore and play in while their parents/carers can catch up over coffee and cake!   Led on various projects to support the Regional Fundraising Leadership Team and their fundraisers as well as liaising with other internal teams across Macmillan to improve ways of working. The main project was the continual development of workbooks for regional fundraisers and their managers to support them to effectively manage and plan their workload and area strategy.

  Organised numerous large scale fundraising events in London, a role which involved all aspects of event management from inception to delivery.Also set up a very successful annual multi-venue music festival in East London, The Big Mix, reaching a new younger audience, generating over £117,000 worth of printed press coverage in the first year alone and raising over £100,000 for Macmillan to date.
