      Thesis Project for the Felix Varela Poligraphic Publishing House belonging to the FORTES Center of the University of Informatics Sciences.The Felix Varela Poligraphic Publishing House (EEPFV) is in charge of carrying out the process of publishing academic books that correspond to the study programs of the careers of the Cuban Higher Education System. The latter currently has a platform for managing services, including the online publication and promotion of books and educational resources, but it did not offer the possibility of retrieving information from other file systems. The functionality was to develop a module that would allow information from other systems to be retrieved from the platform. For its development, a study was carried out on information exchange and retrieval protocols where the OAI-PMH standard is selected to retrieve metadata stored in other file management systems. The module was developed using the AUP methodology, it is based on the Symfony framework and the php programming language. The Modeling, Implementation and Test flows were carried out, indicated by the chosen methodology, obtaining a system that meets the functional and non-functional requirements. With the developed software, the collection of metadata is allowed, facilitating access to them remotely, quickly and easily.
