I was appointed by the Provincial Delegate for the Jesuit Colleges in Italy and Albania, to coordinate and help the delegate and his staff guide the network of Jesuit schools towards a more international educational model while conserving the substantial strengths of the Italian Jesuit model. During the 2012-2013 academic year, I collaborated intensely with the colleges in Rome, Turin, Naples and Palermo (where is located the International School of Palermo) with the goal of improving the following aspects: promoting a school that develops the TALENTS of every student, stressing art, music, sports and the general development of creativity, autonomy, critical sense, respect and generosity. From July 2014 I was given the responsibility of continued improvements and reforms in the school with the aim of monitoring and promoting continued innovation. Show less

I was hired by the Headmistress, Sr. Anne Marie Hill in 1998 and was her personal assistant for twelve years. My principle job was the head of the Admissions Office. Over the years, beyond covering various roles, I participated in numerous projects including: the planning and development of a bilingual curriculum; the development of a marketing strategy for the school; publications such as the yearbook, brochures, website; the realization of the project Comenius with other European elementary schools; the organization of the Arion Study Visit at Istituto Marymount; the promotion of a project subsidized by the Italian Ministry of Education that introduced robotics into the curriculum of middle schools. Through ECIS (European Council of International Schools) I had the opportunity to visit numerous international schools, both Catholic and lay, in Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, the UK, Austria, Greece, the US and Latin America. I participated in workshops that deepened my understanding of education, on the use of didactic technology, marketing strategies, etc. I was further occupied with the Certification of Qualità of the Instituto, ex L. ISO 9001. During my tenure as director of the Admissions Office, enrollment more than doubled, rising from 230 to 640, that is the maximum capacity of the school. I remain on excellent terms with the school, both with the administration and the teachers. In particular the director of the network of Sacred Heart schools, who asked me to help her with the organization and realization of the conference of schools taking place in Colombia in June 2013, notwithstanding the fact that I worked at Istituto Massimo.
