  Founded a social justice cause to fight for sustainable period equity and raise awareness of menstruation issues and the human rights violations they carry within the U.K. and amongst our beneficiaries in Jaipur, India. Partnered with Sanitree to expand our influence and carry out a donation drive which provided menstruators in Kathputli Nagar with sanitary products worth £650. Negotiated with relevant stakeholders to provide free period products across the University of Exeter campus and collaborated with EX4Homeless society to shed light on the impact which period poverty has on the wider Devon community, specifically the homeless.   Individually conducted a scoping study to help four organisations illustrate the need for preventative intervention in minimizing the notoriously low outcomes of care leavers across Devon. Utilized my programming knowledge to analyse large amounts of national and local level data to quantitatively illustrate the need for increased government funding for intervention which would reduce the heavy human and financial costs held by the organisations. Such work was especially important during a time where COVID-19 had slashed funding for Foundation’s across the UK. Furthermore, I identified and depicted the detrimental impact that lack of complete and continuous care leaver datasets were having on government policies. Critically and objectively informed decision on guaranteeing future effectiveness from government policy.
