  Reforestadora Latinoamericana was born in 2003 with the vision of developing forest plantations with native species in the Amazon Jungle for the production, transformation and commercialization of sustainable wood. Today we pride ourselves in being the largest company, with the most hectares planted with 100% native species, from Peru. My initial role was to negotiate and consolidate the necessary hectares to start the project, achieving 100% effectiveness in the purchase of more than 14,000 hectares. As manager of the commercial area, I obtained contracts for more than 50MM soles, a figure never before seen for a tree planting project in Peru. Show less

  As a co-founder of Peru Carbon Fund, my job started with the conception of the idea along with my partners, find a way to certify forest plantations in a logical and transparent way, for which satelite images and strict fieldwork were used, to create the brand and take it to market. I was in charge of marketing the Carbon Capture Certificates, an intangible product focused on helping the environment, which in turn gave companies the possibility of differentiation. Among the greatest achievements was the creation of a digital carbon dioxide calculator with shopping cart, as well as being recognized as a Standard To Watch in the Future by the State of the Forest Carbon Market magazine. Peru Carbon Fund is the first 100% Peruvian company to create its own certification standard based solely on issuing Certificates from forest plantations of native species in the Amazon. Show less
