Museo Emilio Balli

  The museum was founded in 1900 in Locarno, Switzerland by my great grand father Emilio Balli. Emilio Balli was director and curator on a voluntary base, from 1900 until his death in 1934. The museum (1900-1934) was fully private with a shareholder structure and with almost no financial help from the government and from the city of Locarno.   Alessandro Botteri Balli worked for ECOFIN Group in various areas. He was the marketing director of our group for 20 years and had a decisive influence on the CI/CD of the company. He has managed various projects in this field, he organized large company events with over 200 people and a budget of over CHF 250,000, as well as various customer seminars. He has organized and represented ECOFIN at trade fairs in Switzerland, Europe and the USA. He has built up the Internet presence of the whole group and has maintained during years various productive websites of our company. Special mention should be made of the website, visual design and representation of our former collective pension fund NOVENTUS at trade fairs and seminars. Thanks to his excellent education and versatile skills, we were able to entrust Mr. Botteri with other very diverse work outside the communications field. He was an important collaborator in the content and visual creation of our large conceptual data models, which were licensed all over the world. Finally, he held a responsible position (deputy asset manager) in our asset management company with about CHF 500 million assets under management. We have known Mr. Botteri as a valuable, versatile employee who always carried out the often very different activities assigned to him to our complete satisfaction. His entrepreneurial thinking and acting, his cost-consciousness and his impeccable behavior towards employees, bosses and customers have contributed a lot to the success of our company.
